Hello! I'd like to share some comments I've made with regards to the Nelson and Blanke OBE-related studies. Finally, I leave you a link to a brief literature review of research on OBE/NDE. I wanted to reply to your entry, but I didn't know how. 1) On K. Nelson study:

PI meets WRH: Did PI kill Vince Foster? We're just asking questions.PI meets WRH: Did PI kill Vince Foster? We're just asking questions.Progressive Independent.com is an uneasy cluster of 9/11 Truthers, anti-semites banned from larger discussion boards (chiefly Democratic Underground), New Age freakouts and political ingenues deemed too freaky even for the Kucinich campaign. Now it has found its natural home on the political spectrum - "sponsoring" Michael Rivero's ultra-rightwing, insanely paranoid conspiracy-fest whatreallyhappened.com. PI has long been a supporter of dopey tinfoil-merchant Wayne Madsen, so it's not much of a stretch.

Rivero made his name coming up with increasingly bizarre conspiracy theories in the "Arkancide" genre during the Clinton years, suggesting that Bill and Hill barely had time for politics in between murdering Vince Foster and many, many others. None of these "theories" have ever been dropped by Rivero - we can only assume PI approves.

PI certainly approves of WRH's rampant anti-semitism, as the "PIgots" have blazed something of a trail in that direction themselves, complete with links to the Protocols and members sporting swastikas.read more »

If you know What Really Happened, please mention it to Rivero or PI. They haven't got the foggiest idea.

I just finished watching the BBC's 9-11: The Conspiracy Files in preparation for our first open discussion on Sunday. Overall I thought it was an excellent program and gave a broad overview of the state of 9-11 conspiracism. The only thing left out were the more whack-a-doodle theories such as dustification (although they're all whack-a-doodle, some are more whack-a-doodle than others). Dylan Avery, James Fetzer and Alex Jones were good choices to feature as being among the most prominent voices of the 9-11 Truth movement and each was shown to be equally intellectually dishonest. I just can't see this as a hit piece as the troofers do. Avery, Fetzer and Jones' assertions were examined, often stated in their own words, and then factually countered. Moreover, this program came off as highly critical of the U.S. government and devoted a large chunk of the show to detailing the ways in which our government acted to coverup after the fact.read more »
