Here's the past week's (give or take a few days) crop of blog carnivals (in no particular order)...
After flying off to warmer climes for January, one of my favorite blog carnivals is back and packing a punch. Well, actually it's Abe Lincoln packing a knockout punch against robo-Hitler, but... Aww hell. This metaphor's going nowhere, but there really is a robo-Hitler in Carnival of Bad History #13 at Old is the New New. Go read.
The tenth Carnival of Bad History was posted Sunday evening over at Archy and features a short but nice mix of historically challenged facts including my own cheeky mention of Neil Armstrong's elusive article. David Beaver from Language Log notes in comments though that Peter Shann Ford's analysis of Armstrong's transmission is itself bad history -- and a whole lot of other bad stuff! Now that's the way to go behind the story. Good going David!
You can find the answer to this, and many other questions you probably never knew you wanted the answers to at the Carnival of Bad History #8 hosted by David Beito at Liberty and Power.
Also, Carnival of the Godless should be up today at Revolvo Inritus. I hope Coralius didn't do something silly... like go to church!
Updated! 6:25PM -- Hah, I knew I only need make a semi-complaining post and I could cause Carnival of the Godless #47 to magically appear. Miracles and wonders! That's why you read Neural Gourmet, right?
You'll love the Carnival of Bad History #7 which is chock full of cockeyed history. CoBH is at Hiram Hover's shack this time around. Oh, and if you can't get enough bad history, well, you're in luck because CoBH has gone monthly! Get all the details at the CoBH site.
Yay! One of my favorite blog carnivals, the Carnival of Bad History, is back and it's going monthly. CoBH #6 is up now at Frog In A Well - Japan and it's your obligatory reading for today. After you're done with CoBH, take a walk with the docs on the Grand Rounds at Medviews and then go green with Carnival of the Green #33 at Jen's Green Journal.
