Attend college at Berkeley for free

OK, not really... But U.C. Berkeley is now offering hundreds of course lectures [1] on iTunes for free, as part of Apple's iTunes U [2] program. This is in addition to Stanford University which began offering a similar service [3] on iTunes a few months ago. While I can't praise Stanford and Berkeley enough for making such a wealth of material available to the public for free there is an ethical issue here. As Jon Udell wrote [4] back in February, it's wonderful that universities and Apple are doing this but it has the effect of making the material less publicly available than if a link to MP3s had been placed on the universities' websites. That's a valid point I think, and a concern we should keep in mind. However, in the short run I think you've got to say that this is fantastic.
