Maybe if you have a refrigerator made out of a new alloy [1] created by Karl Sandeman and colleagues at the University of Cambridge that actually gets colder in the presence of a magnetic field. The Cambridge team envisions a new type of refrigerator using the Magneto-Caloric Effect [2] that could be up to 40% more efficient than conventional refrigerators. Although this effect has been known for 120 years, this new alloy is particularly attractive in that it works at room temperature, is less expensive than other materials exhibiting a MCE and does not contain toxic chemicals like arsenic. According to Sandeman, it can also be tuned to work over a wide range of temperatures.
