Extraterrestrial Encounter Therapy - A money making hoax

Recently while I was working in Coober Pedy as an Engineer/Consultant I had the misfortune to come across a person claiming they had been in contact with aliens. I had finished work at the time and was extremely tired and must have looked like hell. I was dirty and the fatigue was apparent to anyone who looked at my face. I was walking to the pub when I noticed a man approaching. I thought since it's a small town maybe he knew I was a stranger and thought he might say hello. In fact he came over and asked me if I had come here to seek help. Obviously I was shocked so I asked him what he meant, to which he replied "I can help you if you have been in contact with extraterrestrials". Being an ardent skeptic I was tempted to begin to debate with him about the notion that aliens even existed. However for some reason I went along with it. I told him I was actually here for help and would really like to know what he could do for me. He began to explain to me how the therapy he was trained in, Extraterrestrial Encounter Therapy, was able to heal the trauma of extraterrestrial contact. I pretended to be enthusiastic and asked how much a session would cost. He replied that it would cost only $145.00, which was apparently a bargain considering the improvement I would see in my life. I asked him to give me his name and number, but he refused saying that I should give him mine. This is where I regret to say I fired up and started berating him about how charlatans like him were responsible for ruining peoples lives. Of course he made a speedy exit and I didn't see him for the rest of my stay. So what I want to know is has anyone come across this so called Extraterrestrial Encounter Therapy? If so please fill me in as I am keen to make it public so people will know the charlatans responsible for this rubbish.

But you have made an interesting contribution to the taxonomy of Woos in the Wild.
