Google changed the ping URL for Google Sitemaps so we were getting an error whenever new content was submitted (including blogs and comments). I installed the newly updated version of the GSitemap module. Problem appears to be resolved. Please post here if you continue to receive an error that looks like this:

warning: parse_url(/webmasters/tools/ping?sitemap=http://www.neuralgourmet.com/gsitemap)
