2035: (Politics, U.S.A.)  President NTJ0b1-CRZL00N (a robot programmed with the mind of Alan Keyes - d. 2026) signs a bill which bans marriage between same-sex small mammals.

2019: (Politics, U.S.A.) After the recent death of Karl Rove (b.1950) on July 18th 2019, geneticists announce that judging from Rove's genetic code, he was in fact one sixteenth part-walrus. The Rove family had stayed quiet about the shameful secret for more than three generations.

2014: (Medicine, U.S.A.) Robert Kennedy Jr announces that he is suing the cattle industry in the United States. Kennedy claimed unmistakable proof that consumption of meat causes asthma, arguing a correlation between increased average meat intake and increase in asthma levels.

2012: (Conspiracies, worldwide) 9/11 revisionist blog 'It Really Happened' claims that the WTC never actually existed, citing a "mainstream media conspiracy" to make people believe that it existed and was destroyed by Islamic fundamentalist terrorists. The site labelled those who claimed to see the planes hit the towers and those who emphatically believed in the WTC's existence "as shills for GoreBushClintonco." 

2008: (Medicine, U.S.A.) A brain scan of Tom Cruise is leaked to the press showing that he has a severely-diminished frontal lobe. Cruise threatened to sue the press citing "Thetans are evil and are distorting reality to make it seem that I am not sane."
